The Popular Show Campaign 4 Reveals the Soldiers Party

From the very beginning of Campaign 4, recently appointed game master Brennan Lee Mulligan has kept viewers on edge with extensive world-building, a wide array of heroes, and a gripping narrative including angels, evil spirits, and malevolent powers expanding in influence within the city.

Warning: Spoilers for the third episode of the new season are included.

The Warrior Group Unveiled

The third episode ended with a major cliffhanger and revealed the initial group of adventurers who will branch out from the primary party to begin their separate journey, apart from the additional parties.

This warrior group features the determined fighter (portrayed by the voice actor), Thimble (Laura), the strong-willed figure (the cast member), Wicander Halovar (the player), and the mysterious adventurer (Robbie).

Dividing the Cast

With a large ensemble, it was obvious from the start that having everyone at a single group would be unworkable.

Hence, the opening chapters of this story serve as an Overture, connecting the personal journeys before dividing into three separate parties: Warriors, Schemers, and Seekers.

What Defines the Soldiers Table

As described by the Dungeon Master, the warrior group is for participants who prefer a typically action-packed combat and conflict-driven story mode where non-violent answers are rare.

Initially, figures such as the hesitant healer the cleric might seem mismatched, but the events of the latest installment make it clear why these specific adventurers are perfectly fit for the combat party.

Reasons to Leave

First, the group knows exactly where to head next after a violent first encounter with the antagonists.

Casimir of the deceased character—whose death started the narrative’s action—manipulated The Crow Keepers for his personal gain, invading the secret base, striking the rogue, and swiping all the powerful objects to auction.

Casimir then settled his debts and fled to a Halovar stronghouse in the remote area, beyond Dol-Makjar, with Teor’s brother hot on his heels.

Individual Reasons

Secondly, each member has a specific drive to depart Dol-Makjar:

  • Thimble, as the companion and trusted friend, desires retribution.
  • The adventurer is familiar with Timmony and warns that it is a nasty environment.
  • The warrior and The cleric, having disobeyed his family’s wishes to kill the target and instead rescued him, have no other options.
  • But, their status as prominent individuals in the powerful family could help the group access places they typically wouldn’t be able to.
  • Additionally, The grateful character swore a eternal obligation to Wicander for his salvation and will now follow him anywhere.

Fugitives

In addition, all of them are hunted by the authorities that control Dol-Makjar for a variety of reasons, making lingering locally dangerous:

  • Thimble and The character are notorious outlaws.
  • Tyranny and The healer turned against the powerful family and the army of fiends they are partnered with.
  • Teor is wanted dead by the family.

This results in them no alternative but to journey toward Timmony in quest for the traitor.

What’s Next?

Based on episode three’s Cooldown, we find out that the warrior group won’t be around next week, leaving the remaining eight players to round up the Seekers and Strategists tables.

Audiences can look forward to discovering which players will be in which group in Campaign 4’s last Overture episode, available to watch on next week.
